Senior Legal Counsel (Hydro, ME, Large Pump, Schuler)

What you will do

• Provide independent legal opinions in English and Chinese on electronic and mechanical equipment supply, purchase, and EPC contracts.
• Participate in contract negotiations, supervise contract execution, and draft documents required for negotiations, execution, and dispute resolution.
• Support leasing, agency, consultancy, administration, safety, import and export, branch establishment, and internal merger matters.
• Review legal documents and supervise project execution to reduce customer and supplier disputes.
• Provide legal support for sales and purchasing activities of other hirify.global Group entities globally.
• Organize and deliver legal training for business divisions on legal requirements and project risks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer or in-house legal counsel in construction or electrical and mechanical equipment supply and installation.
• Bachelor’s degree in law and bar admission in the PRC.
• Ability to independently analyze contract and business risks, handle project disputes, and prepare analysis reports in Chinese and English.
• Strong understanding of risks in the electrical and mechanical equipment supply industry.
• Knowledge of public bidding, international sales contracts, import and export, intellectual property, quality disputes, and environmental protection.
• English required as a working language, including reading English documents and basic legal drafting.
