Business Analyst (Insurance and Financial Services)

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders and end users.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications while aligning business and technical teams.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, clarification sessions, and decision-making with multiple stakeholders.
• Analyze business processes and system solutions for insurance and financial services applications.
• Prepare BRDs, SRSs, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze API and system integration requirements, manage scope and dependencies, and support QA, UAT, deployment, and post-production clarification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business information systems, finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or IT projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing BRDs, SRSs, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of enterprise business processes and system flows, with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, data mapping, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Draw.io, or similar tools is advantageous.
