What you will do

• Lead and maintain the Technical Publications team capability supporting Naval Combat Systems requirements.
• Estimate, plan, and support project deliveries, including scope, resources, and task allocation.
• Direct priorities and provide management support to the Technical Publication Team.
• Support S1000D publication capability and associated toolsets.
• Manage Control Accounts and Work Packages for Technical Publication activities.
• Mentor, train, and guide team members.

Requirements

• At least eight years of technical writing experience in manufacturing, technology, engineering, electrical, or defence industries.
• Extensive experience developing technical and operator manuals for software-intensive systems.
• Australian citizenship is required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
• Excellent written English is required.
• Experience with S1000D publication development, complex document editing, Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Windows applications, and Microsoft Office.
