What you will do
- Lead and maintain the Technical Publications team capability supporting Naval Combat Systems requirements.
- Estimate, plan, and support project deliveries, including scope, resources, and task allocation.
- Direct priorities and provide management support to the Technical Publication Team.
- Support S1000D publication capability and associated toolsets.
- Manage Control Accounts and Work Packages for Technical Publication activities.
- Mentor, train, and guide team members.
Requirements
- At least eight years of technical writing experience in manufacturing, technology, engineering, electrical, or defence industries.
- Extensive experience developing technical and operator manuals for software-intensive systems.
- Australian citizenship is required.
- Must hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
- Excellent written English is required.
- Experience with S1000D publication development, complex document editing, Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Windows applications, and Microsoft Office.
