QA Functional Analyst

Location: Hybrid in El Salvador, with on-site project-specific testing and biometric validation when required

What you will do

• Analyze functional and business requirements to define testing scenarios and validation needs.
• Design, document, execute, and maintain functional test cases.
• Perform manual, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Validate user journeys and business processes against expected functionality.
• Identify, document, report, and follow up on defects with reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Validate resolved defects, perform regression testing, and communicate risks and blockers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Functional Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience with manual, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience designing test cases, validating business requirements, and managing defects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Availability to work under a hybrid model in El Salvador and perform on-site testing when required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
