Senior Rendering Programmer (Unreal Engine)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain rendering systems and features within Unreal Engine.
• Develop shaders, materials, lighting, and post-processing subsystems.
• Collaborate with Art and Tech Art teams to support efficient visual workflows.
• Optimize rendering systems for performance, memory usage, and scalability across PC, console, and mobile.
• Debug complex rendering issues involving GPU performance and visual artifacts.
• Mentor junior programmers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of professional experience in game programming with shipped titles using Unreal Engine.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience with Unreal Engine rendering pipelines.
• Solid understanding of real-time rendering concepts (lighting, shading, materials).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for performance-critical systems.
• Experience with version control systems like Perforce or Git.
• Must be able to attend an in-person interview in Montreal if required.
