TL;DR
AI Software Engineer (AI/software development): Building, testing, and optimizing software solutions that support AI-based applications with an accent on clean code, scalability, and maintainability. Focus on solving complex technical challenges, improving application performance and reliability, and applying modern AI development practices.
Location: USA (Remote). Fully remote; only UK citizens will be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Develop, test, and maintain software solutions supporting AI-driven applications.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to design and deliver software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
- Learn and apply emerging AI technologies, development methodologies, and modern engineering practices.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming fundamentals in one or more of Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for learning AI concepts, new technologies, and software development practices.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Internship experience, academic projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including cloud architecture fundamentals or cloud certifications.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, networking, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure operations.
