Field Engineer (Electrical/Electronics)

Location: Field-based inspections at customer facilities throughout Tunisia; extensive travel required

What you will do

• Conduct safety and non-safety inspections and audits at customer facilities according to applicable standards and procedures.
• Verify that certified electrical and electronic products, components, materials, labels, and markings meet certification requirements.
• Review production records, quality documentation, traceability programs, and previous inspection findings.
• Evaluate test-equipment calibration and witness factory testing when required.
• Prepare inspection reports and document non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Advise customers and coordinate with internal engineering, sales, customer service, and certification teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience in auditing, inspection, compliance, product testing, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of electrical or electronic products, components, manufacturing processes, or quality systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, French, and the local language.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a field-based schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
