Fullstack Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Sunnyvale, California; on-site five days a week

Salary: $141,000–$162,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features across frontend and backend systems.
• Build scalable web applications with React and distributed backend services.
• Contribute to frontend infrastructure, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and application architecture.
• Develop APIs and services for communication across distributed systems.
• Own unit, functional, and integration testing, application monitoring, performance metrics, and production issue resolution.
• Partner with Product Management, Design, and engineering teams to improve workflows, accessibility, usability, code quality, and developer experience.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in full-stack or UI-focused software engineering.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Node, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design, distributed system communication, performance optimization, browser rendering, and debugging.
• Experience with testing frameworks, modern build systems, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience building microservices or service-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.0+, inclusive design, frontend performance metrics, design systems, and component libraries.
• Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms or cybersecurity products.
