TL;DR
Function Developer Engineer (Automotive) (ASCET/Simulink): Developing control algorithms and defining requirements for advanced engine control units with an accent on automotive technologies, mathematical modeling, and control-unit testing. Focus on testing directly on vehicles and dedicated control units, applying physical and logical principles, and discussing technical requirements with internal partners and external customers.

Location: Érd, Hungary; hybrid working model with 60% home office

What you will do

  • Develop control algorithms for advanced engine control units using ASCET or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Define concepts and requirements for advanced automotive technologies.
  • Test functions directly on dedicated control units and vehicles.
  • Apply mathematical, physical, and logical knowledge to technical solutions.
  • Discuss technical requirements with internal partners and external customers.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of engine systems and exhaust aftertreatment systems.
  • Experience with ASCET or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of product features, and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have

  • C programming experience.
  • German language knowledge.
