Senior C++/Java Software Engineer (Tashkent/on-site)

Location: On-site in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at the employer's office

What you will do

• Maintain software products for digital audio and video in the media market.
• Resolve issues identified by QA teams and end users.
• Develop advanced media software tools for multi-platform delivery, web applications, and mobile tools.
• Contribute to standard-compliant video streaming and workflow modelling solutions.
• Build and support web services using SOA and REST architectures.
• Work directly with customer teams within a large Scrum-based development group.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
• Strong C++ knowledge and at least basic Java knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithmic problem solving.
• Experience with client-server applications, network applications and protocols, Windows, VS2019 or VS2025, MFC, WinAPI, and multithreaded application design.
• Intermediate or higher spoken and written technical English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with gRPC, relational or non-relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
• Knowledge of Python and web development technologies.
• Experience with VirtualBox, Docker, Kubernetes, Scrum/Agile, or digital media.
• Fluent English.
