What you will do
- Develop and execute forecasting, planning, sourcing, and supply chain strategies for Global Clinical Supply.
- Design and implement strategic sourcing models, resource models, and flexible supplier networks for clinical development programs.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, monitor operational performance, manage action plans, and support continuous improvement.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Quality, and GCS leadership on supplier selection, contracts, governance, expenditure, and risk management.
- Use data analysis, market signals, benchmarking, and reporting systems to guide demand management and strategic decisions.
- Act as a department training lead and help maintain compliant role and training requirements across Global Clinical Supply Operations.
Requirements
- BA/BS with at least 5 years of experience, MBA/MS with at least 3 years, or PhD/JD with up to 2 years of experience.
- Relevant experience in supply and logistics management, preferably in pharmaceuticals or similar sectors.
- Experience with sourcing, vendor engagement, vendor oversight, procurement processes, and strategic supplier relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP.
- Familiarity with AI tools and demonstrated interest in patient quality and compliance.
Nice to have
- Digital and AI transformation experience, including automation, analytics, and AI-enabled operational solutions.
- Strategic sourcing experience in clinical supply chain management.
- Experience with drug development, clinical trials, pharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical packaging, labeling, distribution, IRT, or supplier management.
- Advanced training in supply chain management, science, pharmacy, or business administration.
- Project management certification and advanced ERP or Microsoft Office experience.
