What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering organization across Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and QA.
• Define technology strategy and architecture for massive scale, high availability, and future business needs.
• Own end-to-end engineering delivery and ensure predictable, high-quality product releases.
• Build a culture of ownership, innovation, transparency, continuous delivery, and engineering excellence.
• Partner with Product, Business, the CEO, and executive stakeholders to align engineering strategy with company objectives.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure, system performance, security, and production monitoring for a high-volume transactional platform.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior R&D leadership roles.
• Experience managing managers and scaling engineering organizations from dozens to hundreds of engineers.
• Deep technical background in large-scale, highly available distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Strong familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, NoSQL, Kubernetes, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience in hyper-growth startups; B2B SaaS, fintech, or gaming infrastructure experience is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, business acumen, and experience with high-volume transactional or payment-processing systems.
