What you will do
- Act as the Risk Operations subject matter expert for complex, high-risk, and sensitive cases.
- Provide risk-based decisions and serve as the primary escalation point.
- Support the Risk Desk Manager with operational excellence, quality standards, and risk reporting.
- Review and improve risk policies, procedures, and operational frameworks.
- Analyze emerging risks, customer activity, and operational trends to recommend improvements.
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities, mentor analysts and team leaders, and collaborate with Compliance, Product, Payments, Data, and Customer Operations.
Requirements
- Fluent English required.
- Fluent Brazilian Portuguese required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of risk and payments.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
- Collaborative approach and ability to coach and share knowledge.
