Senior Solutions Engineer (Duck Creek)

Location: Remote opportunity or offices in Springfield, Missouri; San Juan, Puerto Rico; or Honduras. Primary working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with occasional work outside these hours and travel as needed.

What you will do

• Own complex solution components and integrations from technical design through implementation and deployment.
• Translate business requirements and technical designs into maintainable applications, APIs, services, configurations, and data solutions.
• Develop, configure, test, troubleshoot, document, and integrate Duck Creek extensions and components.
• Collaborate directly with client technical teams, project leadership, Technical Leads, Architects, and stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks, communicate progress and design decisions, and resolve delivery challenges.
• Mentor Junior Engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute reusable components, delivery accelerators, and improved engineering standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering enterprise implementations or integrations.
• Hands-on experience implementing the Duck Creek platform and policy administration systems.
• Strong full-stack engineering experience integrating enterprise insurance systems.
• Experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, JavaScript/Angular, Azure, or similar modern technologies.
• Experience in client delivery or consulting environments and Agile software development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to analyze requirements and communicate blockers clearly.

Nice to have

• Property and casualty insurance experience, including policy administration, billing, or claims platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted development, agentic coding tools, and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
