Associate IT Support Specialist

Location: Remote

Salary: $25.27–$34.19 per hour

What you will do

• Provide first-line troubleshooting and incident management for supported applications and processes.
• Register, classify, analyze, and resolve incidents, escalating unresolved issues to senior support.
• Document incident resolutions and procedures for future reference.
• Perform functional and data validation, maintenance, and project work for supported systems.
• Install software and computer peripherals for users.
• Provide work direction to junior team members and collaborate with business and IT partners during major incidents.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business, mathematics, or a related field.
• Typically less than 2 years of applicable experience.
• Understanding of the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software, hardware, and networking equipment.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and solve complex problems.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in a technology-related field.
• Understanding of hirify.global’s technology capabilities.
