Senior Retail Operations Specialist

Location: Fully remote, with biannual company off-sites.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 base salary per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Own daily retail order fulfillment and resolve shipment, shortage, and delivery issues proactively.
• Manage base inventory, promotional planning, and new item launches to prevent stockouts and execution issues.
• Track OTIF performance, chargebacks, late trucks, and related operational improvements.
• Coordinate 3PL and logistics partners, resolve escalations, and enforce service-level expectations.
• Build and document SOPs covering receiving, lot and expiry management, promotions, and returns.
• Identify tools, including AI, and workflow changes that improve retail operations efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in retail operations, order fulfillment, or replenishment within a CPG environment.
• Direct experience with Walmart and club channels such as Sam's Club or Costco; experience with UNFI or KeHE is beneficial.
• Knowledge of EDI order management, lot codes, and expiration handling in retail fulfillment.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic modeling.
• Comfort working with ERP and WMS systems; experience with Fulfil.io is a strong plus.
• Clear communication, independent ownership, analytical decision-making, and a track record of improving inefficient processes.
