Senior Golang Software Engineer (Kubernetes) (Go/Kubernetes): Build and operate cloud-native platform services, Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, and Custom Resource Definitions for scalable, secure, and resilient environments with an accent on distributed systems, reliability, and infrastructure automation. Focus on designing production-grade services, managing Kubernetes clusters, implementing GitOps and Infrastructure as Code, and improving observability and operational performance.
Location: Romania; work type: remote or office.

What you will do
- Design and develop Go-based cloud-native platform services, Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, and CRDs.
- Own service delivery across architecture, implementation, production operations, reliability, and incident resolution.
- Build, deploy, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain Kubernetes clusters throughout their lifecycle.
- Implement GitOps delivery with ArgoCD or Flux and automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, SLIs, and SLOs.
- Optimize microservices and distributed systems while contributing through code reviews, mentoring, and technical knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade backend services and cloud-native applications with Go.
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes administration experience, including production clusters built from scratch.
- Experience developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, and CRDs using Go.
- Solid knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, Linux administration, shell scripting, and operational automation.
- Proficiency with GitOps, ArgoCD or Flux, Terraform, Ansible, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in Agile, multicultural, and distributed teams.
