Associate Security Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Annual base salary: $132,000–$184,400

What you will do

• Perform security assessments for business-initiated projects and drive adoption of application and infrastructure security controls.
• Collaborate with technical and global teams to embed security early in major technology initiatives and improve detection capabilities.
• Review client/server, cloud, web, mobile, and security architectures for gaps against firm policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct application security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing across the SDLC.
• Perform secure code reviews in Java, React, and Python and evaluate third-party system integrations.
• Report technical findings and security risks to stakeholders, developers, and engineers to support remediation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience.
• Experience with application and infrastructure architecture and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of application security best practices, including OWASP and CWE.
• Experience assessing and mitigating software security threats through threat modeling, attack surface analysis, security design reviews, source code reviews, penetration testing, or vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with shift-left security practices, embedding controls during the design phase, and conducting infrastructure or application security risk assessments.
