Software Test Engineer (Python)

Location: Onboarding in Switzerland, followed by remote work from Belarus

What you will do

• Review and analyze system and software requirements.
• Design and implement automated tests in Python alongside manual test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze test results and document testing activities.
• Identify, reproduce, and report software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and QA specialists to improve testing processes and tools.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in software testing, test automation, or software validation.
• Solid Python programming skills are mandatory.
• Experience with both automated and manual testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• English at B2 level or higher, spoken and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded, industrial, or safety-critical projects.
• Knowledge of Verification and Validation processes.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• Experience in industrial automation, transportation, or railway projects.
