Director, Visa Consulting and Analytics, (VCA), Core Consulting Practice (Fintech)

Location: Bogota, Colombia; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead high-impact consulting projects and advisory initiatives for issuers, merchants, acquirers, neobanks, fintechs, and other payment clients in the Andean region.
• Develop strategic frameworks, recommendations, product initiatives, implementation roadmaps, and client growth programs.
• Manage consulting engagements, consultant teams, complex project structures, multiple workstreams, and client presentations.
• Build the consulting business pipeline, qualify opportunities, develop pitches and proposals, and secure new assignments with account executives.
• Partner with marketing, sales, risk, client services, and product teams to implement solutions and maximize hirify.global resources.
• Use data and analytics to improve client performance, manage risks, and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, or 8 years with an advanced degree, or 3 years with a PhD.
• At least 5 years of experience in payments, preferably managing card portfolios or payments management in consulting.
• Experience in payment schemes, products, processes, and card lifecycle management.
• Proven client-facing experience, executive presence, and the ability to present effectively to senior management.
• Leadership and managerial skills in matrixed organizations, with strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
