Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, Egypt; candidates must be Egyptian nationals based in Alexandria or willing to relocate there.

What you will do

• Own design for a product area across discovery, user flows, interfaces, first-draft copy, and shipped quality.
• Work closely with a product manager and tech lead to define scope and sequencing.
• Conduct user interviews and usability tests, using product analytics to guide decisions.
• Design within the existing design system and document necessary deviations.
• Ship small UI and copy changes with AI-assisted code within established developer handoff guardrails.
• Present work in weekly design critique and identify opportunities beyond the initial brief.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product design experience, primarily in B2B SaaS.
• Experience shipping and maintaining at least one complex editor, builder, admin interface, or dashboard.
• Ability to demonstrate a measurable product metric influenced by design and explain its source.
• Ability to write first-draft product copy without relying on placeholder text.
• Hands-on experience building or prototyping with AI tools.
• Egyptian nationality and residence in Alexandria, or willingness to relocate to Alexandria; full professional English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude Code or a comparable agentic coding tool.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, core AI concepts, and their limitations.
• Background in e-learning or enterprise software.
• Enough HTML and CSS to read and review generated code.
