Business Director, DevOps Lead

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure for applications, APIs, data services, AI models, agentic workflows, and high-volume digital asset processing.
• Build and manage containerised production environments with Docker and Kubernetes, including networking, scaling, secrets, security, and lifecycle management.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows with automated testing, security checks, approvals, rollbacks, and release management.
• Establish observability, incident management, backup, disaster recovery, resilience testing, and operational health metrics.
• Embed identity and access management, encryption, vulnerability management, audit logging, and China-specific compliance controls.
• Improve developer experience, synchronise global and China engineering environments, and optimise infrastructure, cloud, model, token, and processing costs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS China and its operational differences from global AWS environments.
• Deep production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud networking, Linux, scripting, configuration management, and automation.
• Experience operating enterprise applications, distributed systems, observability, resilience, incident management, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Practical knowledge of identity and access management, secrets management, vulnerability management, and secure software delivery.
• Familiarity with China cloud, network, cybersecurity, regulatory, and data-residency requirements is required. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is accepted.

• Experience supporting AI, machine learning, data engineering, or high-compute workloads.
• Experience working across global and China-based engineering environments.
• AWS, Kubernetes, security, or DevOps certifications.
• Fluent Mandarin and strong professional English.
