Senior Network Engineer (Cisco): Designing and optimizing secure global enterprise networks across on-premises data centers and Azure cloud environments with an accent on resilience, scalability, and operational security. Location: On-site in Geneva, Lausanne, Nyon, Annemasse, Ferney-Voltaire, or Lyon; the role is based in Switzerland or France.

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco/HPE enterprise networks, Fortinet security infrastructure, and Azure networking.
- Lead hybrid network architecture across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.
- Manage infrastructure lifecycle activities, capacity planning, hardware refreshes, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and secure network services while ensuring monitoring, availability, and compliance.
- Provide third-line support for complex incidents and collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
- Manage telecommunications providers and contribute to architecture and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco and/or HPE Aruba networking solutions, Fortinet firewalls, and Microsoft Azure networking.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPNs, and network security.
- Professional networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, Aruba, or equivalent; CCNA is mandatory.
- Fluent French and English are mandatory.
- Availability for an on-call rotation is required.
Nice to have
- Advanced certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of network automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability platforms.
