Senior Full Stack Engineer (React, Laravel & Cloud Platforms): Building and scaling high-traffic digital ticketing systems with an accent on React/TypeScript interfaces, Laravel/PHP services, APIs, payments, and authentication. Focus on designing shared domain libraries, optimizing performance, solving production reliability challenges, and delivering secure checkout and seat-selection flows.

Location: Lisbon-based hybrid work model with up to four remote days per week; candidates must already have the legal right to work in Europe.

Develop digital ticketing platforms that connect event-goers with events and support high-volume purchasing experiences.

What you will do

• Develop and own features across React/TypeScript consumer experiences and Laravel/PHP backend services.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, data schemas, caching strategies, and high-traffic system performance.
• Design and maintain shared libraries for ticketing, payments, and authentication.
• Implement payments, seat selection, cart management, and secure user authentication with rigorous testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve observability, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations while mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications across frontend and backend development.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills, including server-state management and component architecture.
• Deep knowledge of PHP, Laravel, REST API design, and security.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, component libraries, and frontend state-management practices.
• Good command of English and an existing legal right to work in Europe are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Turborepo, Nx, internationalization, or RTL interfaces such as Arabic.
• Knowledge of payment systems, e-commerce checkout flows, and PCI compliance.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
• Certifications or experience in large-scale system architecture.
