What you will do

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and engineering teams to deliver valuable features and great user experiences
• Own and ship reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend software ensuring user funds safety
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices to foster a high-performance engineering culture
• Design and build a cloud-native platform with monitoring, observability, security, scalability, and testing
• Improve CI/CD workflows to accelerate feature delivery
• Shape engineering culture by introducing good practices and knowledge-sharing methods

Requirements

• Must live in or be willing to relocate to the UAE
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Experience with systems handling money
• Proficiency in Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or Kafka
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as an owner
