Senior Backend Engineer

Location: Live in, or be willing to relocate to the UAE

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and engineering teams to deliver valuable features and great user experience
• Own and ship reliable, scalable, and maintainable software ensuring user funds safety
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices to foster a high-performance culture
• Design and build a cloud-native platform with monitoring, security, scalability, and testing features
• Improve CI/CD workflows to speed up feature delivery
• Shape engineering culture through good practices and knowledge-sharing

Requirements

• Location: Must live in or be willing to relocate to the UAE
• 6+ years of software development experience
• Experience with systems handling money
• Proficiency in Node.js, GraphQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or Kafka
• Experience shipping and maintaining complex backends

Nice to have

• Experience with Typescript, Next.js, React, Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Github Actions
