What you will do

• Lead multiple agile squads delivering full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, integrations, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Provide technical direction across solution design, implementation reviews, architecture, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and implement Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, front-end applications, and integration services on AWS.
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, automated testing, peer reviews, deployment discipline, accessibility, compliance, and production readiness.
• Oversee production support, incident triage, root-cause analysis, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Hire, coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent while coordinating with Product Owners, architects, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering or technology delivery experience, including 2+ years of people management and technical leadership.
• Experience leading multiple agile squads and delivering complex full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, and platform modernization programs.
• Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, AWS, Angular or React, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong background in application architecture, API design, enterprise integration patterns, application security, and scalable digital products.
• Experience with production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, platform reliability, and engineering standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
