Principal Engineer Software - Process Director (SAP/ABAP)

Location: Montenegro, Podgorica. Domestic and international travel of up to 10% is required.

What you will do

• Develop and support Process Director SAP modules using ABAP.
• Design product and application architectures, enhancements, and new functionality based on customer and roadmap requirements.
• Lead or coordinate complex technical work across development, QA, documentation, Product Management, and User Experience.
• Research and resolve design problems while contributing to product innovation and technical documentation.
• Deliver releases on schedule and within budget while maintaining software quality.
• Support internal partners, external stakeholders, and customers with technical inquiries.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong SAP and ABAP skills.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher.
• Experience directing or overseeing the technical work of less experienced staff.
• Ability to work in agile Scrum teams across distributed locations.
• Skills in prompting AI systems, assessing output quality, and applying AI to departmental development needs.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in a related discipline.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with product roadmaps.
