Senior Manual QA Tester (SQL, JIRA, Confluence)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid work model. Candidates may apply globally and do not need an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for software functionality and performance.
• Use SQL to validate data integrity and support thorough testing.
• Record, track, and manage bugs in JIRA.
• Document testing procedures and results in Confluence.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate quality issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage testing activities independently and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Practical experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• English at communicative level and French at proficient level are required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive, autonomous approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience working in agile environments.
• Certifications in QA or testing methodologies.
