Senior Financial Controller (iGaming)

Location: Belgium Hub in Liège; hybrid working model with remote work possible for up to 50% of working time

What you will do

• Own end-to-end group consolidation under IFRS and Belgian GAAP, including scope validation, intercompany reconciliations, consolidation adjustments, and consolidation tools.
• Lead group reporting packages covering the balance sheet, cash flow statement, P&L, net debt, and other key indicators.
• Prepare annual consolidated financial statements, IFRS notes, and group cash flow statements with audit readiness.
• Improve closing and reporting processes by reducing lead times, strengthening documentation, and redesigning consolidation procedures.
• Deliver financial analyses on acquisitions, expansion projects, subsidiary performance, working capital, and cash optimization.
• Support Finance transformation initiatives and coach a Finance controller reporting directly to the role.

Requirements

• Proven experience in group finance, consolidation, and complex financial reporting.
• Solid IFRS knowledge or strong potential to develop it, with exposure to PPA, financial instruments, leases, and audited financial statements.
• Strong ownership, autonomy, critical thinking, and ability to structure and drive initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills across junior and senior levels.
• High standards of precision, reliability, and quality in financial deliverables.
• Strong focus on process optimization, digitalization, automation, and reducing manual work.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools applied to finance processes, reporting, or analysis.
• Exposure to M&A, PPA, impairments, or recent IFRS developments.
