C Developer (Monitoring Software)

Location: hirify.global Headquarters, Riga, Latvia; hybrid work is available.

Salary: €2,400–€5,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Write, maintain, test, and review high-quality C code according to development guidelines.
• Support the full software development and maintenance lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to technical recommendations and estimates.
• Help evolve the code architecture and prepare technical specifications.
• Mentor and train junior software developers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience for the middle level or 5 years for the senior level.
• Strong knowledge of C and Unix and Windows systems.
• Experience participating in design discussions and understanding requirements, high-level solutions, services, and frameworks.
• Good analytical, communication, teamwork, and responsibility skills.
• Very good technical English for professional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQLite3.
• Experience with open-source products and IT architecture solutions.
