TL;DR
Senior Business Analyst (Financial Risk & PnL Systems): Shape the requirements, processes, and quality assurance of a bank's PnL platform with an accent on financial risk, profitability reporting, and cross-team collaboration. Focus on documenting functional specifications, designing test cases, coordinating dependencies, and bridging business needs with development in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Location: Porto, Portugal, hybrid. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Portugal.

What you will do
- Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and functional specifications for the bank's PnL platform.
- Design, document, and maintain system processes for loading, certifying, and publishing Profit & Loss figures.
- Define and execute test cases as part of quality assurance activities.
- Manage relationships with internal clients and support the development of new features.
- Coordinate dependencies across international IT teams, anticipate blockers, and drive resolutions.
- Act as the business knowledge reference for developers within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Academic or professional background in Economics, Finance, Market Data, or Risk Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset and comfort working in a multicultural environment.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Fluent English at minimum B2 level and an existing legal right to work in Portugal are required.
Nice to have
- Experience working on IT projects for financial institutions.
- Proficiency in French.
