TL;DR
Lead Engineer (C++) (HFT): Building and owning high-frequency trading infrastructure for crypto and traditional markets with an accent on low-latency execution, high-throughput market data processing, and performance-critical architecture. Focus on designing the trading platform from scratch, developing backtesting systems, and integrating AI research pipelines directly into trading.
Location: Hybrid work in Amsterdam, with full relocation and visa support provided.

What you will do
- Own the trading platform architecture end to end and make key technical decisions.
- Design and build core HFT infrastructure, including runtime systems for market data ingestion and order execution.
- Structure engineering ownership, delegate work across a team of 3β4 engineers, and remain hands-on with critical areas.
- Develop backtesting infrastructure for trading strategies.
- Optimize systems for low latency, high throughput, and reliability.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to connect models and research pipelines to live trading systems.
Requirements
- Deep production experience with C++.
- Professional background in high-frequency trading.
- Ability to design systems and architecture from scratch and own them technically.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and system design.
- High autonomy and confidence in making independent technical decisions.
- Professional working English.
