Enterprise Architect M&A Integration

TL;DR
Enterprise Architect M&A Integration (Enterprise Architecture): Supporting acquisition integration programs by assessing application and technology landscapes, defining target architectures, and creating integration roadmaps with an accent on business capability mapping, application rationalization, and governance. Focus on Day 1 and TSA Exit planning, identifying integration risks and technical debt, and aligning business and IT stakeholders around successful transformation.
Location: Remote from Romania; collaboration across UK/EU time zones, occasional meetings with North America or APAC stakeholders, and travel within the UK and Europe for workshops, typically up to three days.

What you will do
- Support enterprise architecture activities across M&A integration programs.
- Assess current-state application and technology landscapes and define target-state architectures.
- Create integration roadmaps supporting Day 1, TSA Exit, and long-term transformation planning.
- Document application portfolios, technology inventories, architecture artifacts, and governance materials.
- Perform application rationalization, map business capabilities to applications, and identify consolidation opportunities.
- Facilitate architecture workshops and collaborate with business, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, project, and partner teams.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of Enterprise Architecture experience, or 5–10 years of Solution/Application Architecture experience with strong Enterprise Architecture exposure.
- Previous M&A integration experience is mandatory.
- Experience with enterprise application landscape assessment, application portfolio management, business capability mapping, and application rationalization.
- Ability to define integration strategies and roadmaps and produce executive-level architecture documentation.
- Experience managing stakeholders and facilitating business and IT workshops.
- Ability to identify integration risks, technical debt, dependencies, and alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting multiple acquisitions or divestitures.
- TOGAF or another Enterprise Architecture framework.
- Experience with Ardoq, LeanIX, Bizzdesign, erwin Evolve, or similar tools.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial organizations.
- Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
