What you will do
- Manage IT demand intake, categorization, prioritization, and the portfolio backlog as the single source of truth.
- Lead weekly alignment meetings with Business Unit IT Leads and communicate prioritization decisions.
- Validate security and compliance requirements before implementation.
- Produce monthly portfolio reports covering demand, priorities, backlog, and stakeholder feedback.
- Coordinate demand freezes, transition activities, handover packs, structured handover sessions, and formal sign-off.
- Act as the central contact between IT and Business Units, resolving competing priorities and documenting decisions.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in IT Demand Management, IT Business Relationship Management, or IT Portfolio Management.
- Experience operating in multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
- Ability to communicate refusals, deferrals, and scope reductions to senior business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar IT portfolio and service management tools.
- Strong written communication skills, including decision logs and formal updates.
- Fluent English required.
