What you will do

• Design and build backend services in Node.js and Rust for the Layer 1 blockchain and native DEX.
• Develop APIs and data pipelines supporting trading, liquidity, and on-chain verification.
• Build and maintain RPC endpoints, blockchain explorers, and developer tools.
• Write clean, tested, production-grade code for verifiable financial applications.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions according to experience level.
• Collaborate with protocol, product, and frontend engineers across Latin America and San Francisco.

Requirements

• Production experience building backend systems.
• Proficiency in one or more of Node.js, Rust, Go, or Python.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and API design.
• Demonstrated ability to ship reliable software and improve existing systems.
• Business English required for spoken and written communication.
• Junior level: 1–3 years of experience; senior level: 5+ years of experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems such as exchanges, payments, clearing, or settlement.
• Knowledge of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, or consensus protocols.
• DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or AWS.
• Web3 or DeFi protocol development experience.
