What you will do

• Administer VMware and Hyper-V virtualized infrastructure and manage the full lifecycle of virtual machines.
• Operate Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and critical application platforms.
• Monitor production environments, investigate incidents, and resolve infrastructure issues autonomously.
• Perform capacity planning, upgrades, patching, planned maintenance, and resource optimization.
• Implement security hardening, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with vendors and technology partners.

Requirements

• Mid-level professional experience as a System Administrator.
• Practical experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Local, and Microsoft environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, plus solid networking skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and containerized environments such as Microsoft AKS.
• Ability to troubleshoot production environments independently.
• Professional experience in the Portuguese market, knowledge of the national business and regulatory context, and legal status permitting immediate and continuous work in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, enterprise application platforms, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps.
• Background in critical or regulated environments and awareness of information security.
