Test Specialist (OSS, NOC, SOC) (Telecom)

Location: Swedish citizenship is required; the role is based in Karlstad or Stockholm and includes remote-work flexibility. Security screening is required under Swedish legislation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for OSS, NOC, and SOC platforms, including service assurance and fulfilment.
• Validate end-to-end integrations between operations and security tools and telecom network elements such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Conduct functional, performance, and security testing of network-management, monitoring, and incident-handling systems.
• Support disaster-recovery and business-continuity testing.
• Document test results and recommend improvements to service reliability and security.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience with network-management systems, monitoring, and incident-management tools.
• Strong understanding of OSS, NOC, and SOC functions in telecom environments.
• Expertise in telecom protocols including SS7, SIP, MPLS, LTE, and 5G.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Swedish citizenship and successful security screening are required.
• Identity verification and background checks may be conducted during recruitment.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation and scripting.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CISSP, or ISO 27001.
