QA Engineer

TL;DR

QA Engineer (Web, SDKs, APIs): Testing and strengthening identity verification and risk-management products across web platforms, mobile SDKs, and APIs with an accent on analytical investigation, edge-case discovery, and product quality. Focus on defining acceptance criteria, performing root-cause analysis through logs and SQL, and validating complex backend-to-interface interactions.

Location: Remote-first; work from the place that works best for you with no mandatory office days. Flexible working hours are available, and occasional company offsites take place in person.

What you will do

• Conduct deep-dive testing across web platforms, mobile SDKs, and APIs.
• Identify edge cases and refine acceptance criteria with developers and product managers.
• Analyze logs, database data, and browser behavior to investigate root causes.
• Document actionable defects and establish testing strategies independently.
• Advocate for quality standards and improve QA processes in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in fast-paced, product-centric agile technology environments.
• Strong analytical, exploratory testing, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in API testing with Postman and Charles Proxy.
• Experience with browser DevTools, Sentry or Kibana, log analysis, and SQL data verification.
• Ability to test iOS, Android, and web environments and communicate proactively with distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with or interest in test automation frameworks.
