What you will do

• Perform quality checks of CDD reviews and EDR cases against regulatory standards, internal policies, scheme requirements, and credit standards.
• Validate the accuracy and logic of risk assessments and provide actionable feedback to analysts.
• Identify process and data deficiencies, conduct gap analyses, and recommend or implement corrective improvements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and best-practice support to less experienced team members.
• Monitor regulatory developments and AML/KYC best practices, supporting training and knowledge sharing.
• Document evidence-based decisions and strengthen risk controls and data integrity.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of AML experience in financial services and 3 years of experience in a checker or quality control role, preferably in payments or banking.
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and related regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Full working proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in additional European languages.
• Experience working in a payments company or bank.
