Client Executive, Commercial Risk (Commercial Insurance): Managing and retaining complex commercial accounts while developing consultative client relationships and evaluating insurance coverage gaps with an accent on risk analysis, insurance architecture, and strategic renewals. Focus on preparing complex marketplace submissions, negotiating loss-sensitive placements, coordinating multidisciplinary client teams, and advising stakeholders on commercial risk solutions.
Location: Remote US; occasional travel may be required.

What you will do
- Acquire and retain large, complex commercial clients through risk analysis, mitigation planning, and insurance architecture.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, insurance carriers, brokers, advisors, and internal leaders.
- Lead renewal discussions covering coverage, pricing, historical losses, and projected loss picks.
- Prepare complex insurance marketplace submissions, including deductibles, endorsements, loss picks, and exposure information.
- Coordinate Account Management, Risk Mitigation, Claims Consulting, and Risk Analyst teams to meet service standards.
- Review final audits and share insurance expertise through advising, development, and training.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses, or obtain them within the first 90 days.
- At least seven years of commercial insurance experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex risk exposures and insurance coverage and develop client recommendations through risk mapping.
- Advanced technical knowledge of insurance coverage, contracts, market conditions, and carrier underwriting appetites.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Nice to have
- Experience with loss-sensitive casualty and workers compensation placements, including captive structures.
- Industry specialization in areas such as construction, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, retail, or real estate.
- Working knowledge of Sagitta.
- CPCU, CIC, CRM, or ARM designation.
