What you will do
- Develop and test standard software applications and related programs in production environments.
- Lead small, well-defined engineering projects and contribute to complex initiatives.
- Apply software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to write clean, maintainable, optimized, and modular code.
- Use database design, data stores, API access patterns, and integration technologies to solve data and system requirements.
- Test, monitor, debug, and improve applications while identifying inefficiencies in existing systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop integrated solutions aligned with business needs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 0–2 years with a master's degree.
- Experience developing software in a team of at least five engineers using agile practices and version control.
- Experience building and maintaining a software project or product in a production environment using public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in one programming language and moderate familiarity with other applicable languages.
- Familiarity with data stores, API access patterns, integration technologies, testing tools, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of moderately complex systems, database design, software integration, and how engineering work supports business goals.
