What you will do

• Lead daily operations, optimization, and incident response across AWS, Azure, on-premises environments, and data centers.
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises data centers and Azure to AWS as the primary cloud platform.
• Design and implement automation, self-healing, and auto-remediation to reduce manual operational work.
• Architect and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure as code with GitHub CI/CD and Spotify Backstage.
• Design, document, and test disaster recovery, backup, failover, and business-continuity strategies.
• Partner with security, platform, DevEx, and application teams while mentoring engineers and establishing reliability and observability practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure, or systems engineering, including hands-on AWS and Azure experience.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows servers, including patching, virtualization, storage, and capacity management.
• Proven expertise with Terraform, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
• Production experience with automation, self-healing systems, disaster recovery, and large-scale cloud migrations.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; relevant cloud certifications preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Citrix or comparable DaaS solutions.
• Experience with MSSQL or PostgreSQL database systems.
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect Expert, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
