Part-Time Instructor - Architectural Technology

Location: Onsite at the Montreal Campus and/or Laval Campus in Quebec, Canada. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver structured course sessions aligned with program objectives and targeted competencies.
• Teach architectural design, technical drawing, 2D/3D representation, BIM, construction systems, materials, and building mechanics.
• Design and evaluate formative and summative assessments using a competency-based approach.
• Provide constructive feedback, personalized student support, and availability outside class hours.
• Integrate artificial intelligence technologies and generative AI tools into teaching practices.
• Contribute to program improvement and departmental activities.

Requirements

• Legal entitlement to work in Canada is required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, architectural technology, building engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in architecture, construction, or the building sector.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and generative AI tools.
• Fluent French, oral and written, is required.
• Professional English proficiency, oral and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching a full course within the last five years.
