Society Relations Director (China)

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global’s relationships with member societies across mainland China, advising on governance, business planning, funding, service standards, and member value.
• Build trusted partnerships with society boards, staff, volunteer leaders, employers, universities, regulators, and institutional partners.
• Monitor society performance, identify gaps, resolve complex issues, and support compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Represent hirify.global in China and strengthen the credibility, reach, and contribution of the CFA charter.
• Lead China-focused strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects with Membership, Marketing, Education, Advocacy, and Society Relations teams.
• Coordinate with the Membership Director, China to deliver integrated member value and aligned market priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in a professional association, nonprofit, membership organization, investment industry, or strategic consulting role.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and working with volunteer leaders, investment professionals, boards, and external audiences.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit governance, board management, project management, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
