Location: Winnersh (Reading), UK. The role is based at the Winnersh pharmacy, with financial support available for relocation from elsewhere in the UK to within commuting distance. Work-from-home options are also available.
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year.

What you will do
- Carry out accuracy checks on dispensed medicines in line with legal, operational and safety standards.
- Own the end-to-end dispensing process and maintain accurate prescription records.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies before they become incidents.
- Mentor junior colleagues and reinforce a culture of accountability, safety and quality.
- Keep current with professional best practices, regulatory changes and pharmacy procedures.
- Coordinate with the wider pharmacy team to ensure patients receive the correct medicines on time.
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or an equivalent ACT qualification.
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is mandatory.
- Proven pharmacy experience with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies and standard operating procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail, direct communication and personal accountability.
- Commitment to patient outcomes and safe, high-quality pharmacy care.
