TL;DR
Platform Engineering Team Lead (GCP/Kubernetes): Leading the development and operation of multi-regional cloud infrastructure and internal platform tooling with an accent on developer experience, automation, and system reliability. Focus on scaling GKE Standard and Autopilot clusters, integrating security and compliance into delivery pipelines, and solving complex resilience, disaster recovery, and observability challenges.
Location: Onsite at the Copenhagen office, Denmark
Salary: DKK 75,000 per month

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a pod within a 10-person platform engineering team while driving technical initiatives and engineering standards.
- Build self-service tools, improve local development workflows, and promote GitOps deployment practices to enhance developer experience.
- Design, manage, and scale multi-regional Google Kubernetes Engine environments across Standard and Autopilot clusters.
- Develop platform automation, operators, and infrastructure tooling using infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate security governance and compliance controls into engineering pipelines in partnership with the security team.
- Improve global load balancing, disaster recovery, cloud-native databases, telemetry, and incident response; participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Deep experience designing and managing highly available, multi-regional infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Advanced experience with modular, scalable Terraform and GCP Config Connector infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience managing and scaling Google Kubernetes Engine Standard and Autopilot clusters.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust access, security perimeters, Cloud Armor, and global load balancing.
- Strong Bash scripting skills and the ability to introduce Go or Python for robust platform tooling.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership skills.
