What you will do

• Lead complex, multi-stage investigations from initial scoping through technical analysis, impact assessment, and root-cause determination.
• Act as the senior escalation point and quality gate for SOC investigations.
• Support Incident Response with telemetry analysis, incident scoping, and investigative depth.
• Identify gaps in investigation methods, runbooks, and tooling, and turn findings into operational improvements.
• Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts through case reviews, coaching, and investigation pairing.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering, Platform Security, Threat Intelligence, and SOC Automation teams; participate in tabletops, post-incident reviews, purple-team engagements, and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in security operations or incident response, including leadership of complex investigations.
• Expert investigation skills across endpoint, identity, cloud, and network domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native environments, containers, Kubernetes, EDR, SIEM query languages, and log analysis.
• Deep understanding of Windows and Linux internals, artifact and behavioral analysis, and MITRE ATT&CK attacker techniques.
• Strong scripting and data-analysis skills with Python, SQL, or KQL.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, is required for working with international teams and stakeholders.
