QA Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Execute manual test cases and perform functional and regression testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing tools using Java and Selenium-based technologies.
• Maintain test documentation and track defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex quality issues.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and architects to improve product quality and align designs with architectural guidelines.
• Benchmark products against competitive solutions and apply findings to testing practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Proficiency in English and Russian, both written and verbal.
• Experience developing automated tests with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Selenide, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, programming, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, IT, natural sciences, or engineering.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux, Jenkins, Git, stress or performance testing.
• Software testing certifications.
