What you will do

• Build a custom WordPress theme from scratch without page builders.
• Create reusable, component-based content structures with ACF Pro.
• Develop custom Gutenberg blocks and implement Figma designs.
• Optimize loading times, caching, and asset handling.
• Write maintainable, scalable code and collaborate with frontend/UI and delivery teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on custom WordPress development experience.
• Strong PHP skills and adherence to WordPress standards.
• Practical ACF Pro experience is required.
• Good command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience building custom themes from the ground up.
• Understanding of performance optimization, SEO fundamentals, and component-based development.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Gutenberg blocks.
• Basic DevOps knowledge covering deployments and environments.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with AWS or managed hosting.
