Agentic AI and Data Science Staff Engineer

Location: On-site in Longmont, Colorado, United States, five days per week; up to 10% travel.

Salary: $109,400–$159,500 base annually.

What you will do

• Apply data science expertise to gather, structure, analyze, and interpret engineering data.
• Partner with firmware, product, quality, and program teams to define data sources, metrics, and actionable insights.
• Develop analytical models, dashboards, and feedback loops for tracking trends, risks, dependencies, and leading indicators.
• Translate engineering and business questions into measurable recommendations that improve execution, delivery, and product outcomes.
• Lead small or large sub-projects and interface with product core and customer teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, master’s degree with 6+ years, PhD with 3+ years, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and extracting insights from large, complex datasets.
• Experience with Python, SQL, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and visualization tools.
• Programming experience in C/C++.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills, ownership, systematic design practices, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Must work on-site in Longmont five days per week.
